We recently moved to South Florida and were desperate to find a school that my child with Asperger's could feel comfortable and safe. We enrolled him into public school and we were hopeful that things would work out. The staff at the elementary school were amazing but the students were a different story. My child was bullied during lunch and recess. My child soon began to stress out about school. We knew that there was no way we could not go back to that elementary school. Which is a shame because like I said the staff was great. I accidentally found out about Solace Creative Learning Partnership in the summer of 2011. After my husband and I met with the owner Ms. Leslie and Ms. Monica we knew our prayers were answered. Now my child is happy again and has the option to work from home when they are having a bad day. If you are a parent that has a child with Asperger's please look into this very small and intimate school. You will not regret it!

 

I have known both Munica and Lesley for a very long time. They have taught my children for several years. I am very excited about this new venture. My children are very excited about the new school and all the plans that are being made to extend their learning beyond the "classroom". This is an ideal learning environment for those who are seeking new and innovative ways to get their children excited about school!

 

I am so looking forward for the start of this school year. Solace Creative Learning Partnership is exactly what my daughter needs.The teachers are fantastic, the school is so clean. beautiful place for learning location is perfect.Thanks for the tour.

I wanted to wait until the first day of school to write a review because I was very impressed with the tour and the program when I came in to enroll my child. I wanted to review when I was absolutely sure that this place met my high expectations. Let me tell you, this is the first time my child has EVER come home from school happy and smiling! My child was raving about the teachers and about the days activities and what she learned at school today. I am so relieved to have found this place for my child! All I care about is my child learning in a safe and happy enviroment and I have finally found that at Solace! Thank you Ms. Leslie and Ms. Munica for being heaven-sent and for being outstanding teachers that will help make my daugther's education successful!

This is in response to Mr Hersch's review. We appreciate his families interest in our center but I must refute some of his claims: 1. Mrs Hersch NEVER spoke with us--much less "tried to enroll". She left an email form through our website. As we responded, we asked for her phone number and other contact information but she never provided it. 2. We have a brand new learning center and literally took possession of our new location 11 days ago. We do have to use a temporary address of a mailing center until the renovations are complete. This should not reflect as anything shady or abnormal. 3. Speaking of renovations, when I (through email) invited Mrs Hersch to our new location and told her we were renovating she responded "I hope it is not dusty I'm terribly allergic" I suggested--not "insisted"--that we could meet somewhere close by if her allergies were a problem. We were trying to be accommodating and certainly not trying to portray "suspicious and untrustworthy" behavior. I apologize if we came across that way. We invite the Herschs to contact us again to see if we are a proper fit for their son.

My wife and I tried to enroll our son here. We were met with unusual behavior. Spoke to Sharon Block would not let us go to the school to look at it with our son, she insisted that we meet at an alternative location. When we researched the address it ended up being a UPS store. With a little more investigating we found it not to be ideal. These people are very suspicious and therefore untrustworthy. Especially when it comes to your children.
